It is always a good idea to have an attorney prepare any deeds you may need.  Although transferring property from one person to another may seem an easy task, there are many complications that can arise if the deed is not prepared correctly or the correct language is not used.  In order to assure that you are transferring or receiving property in the manner you intend, you should at the least, have your attorney review the deed for you. The attorney will explain to you the different types of tenancy noted on the deed.
